Just a bit of trouble shooting here … my current wife did get the customized email for parent teacher conferences.  So it is weird that I am not getting the emails …as biological dad … but my current wife and my ex-wife are.

    Hi Arait:

    Ryan Garton said he did not receive the invite and registration email for P/T conferences.

    Do you have a journal of the emails sent out?

    If you do, could you check to see if 4 emails were sent out for Colin Garton.

    Ryan said the mother and the step-mother got emails.

    I can't see how the step-mother got an email and he didn't.

    The system doesn't work that way.

    Thanks for your note … and appreciate that you are looking into the missing communications that I am not receiving from Haven.

    It would be hard for me to answer the question that you have posed … because I am not receiving them. 1f60a However, I know for a fact that I did not receive the invite and registration email regarding parent teacher conferences.

    I need comprehensive review of what I am and am not receiving. This is frustrating and hard to be a supportive Dad without the communication.

    Thanks for responding.

    Could you let me know what the others are receiving which you're not receiving?

    The record specifically indicates that emails are to be sent to ryan.garton@comcast.net

    I also checked with the Head Secretary at the school.

    She verified that all emails sent through the district system are emailed according to the status in the record.

    Your child's record indicates that emails are to be sent to the parent not living at the same address as the student.

    Since an email was received by collinallison@gmail.com, the email to ryan.garton@comcast.net would have gone out first.

    Could our emails be going into your spam folder?

    Harriet,
    I double checked and you are correct, there should be no reason why this parent didn't get the email.
    I wonder if he checked his spam folder or something else when wrong in the system. As you know SISK has its glitches once in a while.

    I know for a fact that Mr. Latting sent emails to both parents and non-resident parents because a lot of non-resident parents were able to sign up for conferences.

    If this was just a one time thing then it shouldn't be a big issue but if he is getting absolutely no emails then there must be something else we are missing.

    This NR1 says he's not getting emails re his son, but H1 and NR2 are getting emails.

    The box for communication is checked on the NR screen.

    He said he got the Parent Conference email.

    I've sent him the following email:

    Hi Ryan:

    I'm looking into why you're not getting emails.

    Please let me know what emails you are not receiving?
